Poetry Reading: Jeremy Sigler

Jeremy Sigler will read a selection of new prose poems, includingNot to Brag which was written for the catalogue accompanying Rashid Johnson: Anxious Men, curated by Claire Gilman, Senior Curator, and on view at The Drawing Center through Dec. 20th.

Jeremy Sigler (b.1968) is a poet based in Brooklyn, where he has resided since 1991. He has published numerous books of poetry, including most recentlyCrackpot Poet(Black Square Editions) andABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ(Kingsboro Press/ For the Common Good). His next book,Love Poet in Marxist Overalls is forthcoming from Sternberg Press in 2016. Sigler recently worked as co-editor of Carl Andre: Sculpture as Place: 1958-2010 (published by Dia Art Foundation and Yale University Press), and he currently teaches in SVA's Dept. of Visual & Critical Studies, New York.
