ONLINE: ASL DrawNow! with Nic Annette Miller and Joyce Hom
Join teaching artists Joyce Hom and Nic Annette Miller on Sunday, December 11th, for an online participatory drawing workshop presented in American Sign Language (ASL) on the occasion of The Drawing Center's current exhibition "Catherine Chalmers: We Rule." Inspired by her observation of, and engagement with more than one dozen colonies of leafcutter ants in Costa Rica, Chalmers created a site-specific drawing installation in The Drawing Center's lower-level gallery and corridor that depicts the underground labyrinth of an ant colony.
Please note this online workshop will be in ASL with no voice interpretation. It is free and open to the signing community.
