In Conversation: Curtis Talwst Santiago with Zadie Xa
Artist Curtis Talwst Santiago hosts regular live drawing sessions, conversations, and interviews with his fellow artist friends on their practices and current projects.
In this live drawing session with featured guest Zadie Xa whose work is informed by her experiences within the Korean diaspora, as well as the environmental and cultural context of the Pacific Northwest, Santiago discusses her work which features garments, including cloaks and masks, used for performance, protection or ceremony. The pair also draw live together while continuing their discussion on drawing and their own practices.
