Willem de Kooning: Drawing Seeing/Seeing Drawing presented seventy works on paper by the incredibly influential artist Willem de Kooning. The exhibition focused on four groups of drawings de Kooning made between 1958 and the late 1970s. De Kooning regularly created series of drawings, sometimes continuing them intermittently over a decade. The presentation of four of these series afforded a close view of the artist’s working process and his constant reinvention of mark making.
