Drawing Papers 117
Small.

Small. is a group exhibition that features the work of a group of international contemporary artists who adopt an intimate format to explore issues related to visual perception, personal and historical memory, the construction of gender stereotypes, and the power of the imagination. Published to accompany the exhibition, this publication features works ranging from graphite photo-realist renderings to interventions in found objects to site-specific installations. The volume also includes an introduction by the curators and excerpts from ruminations on smallness in literature, philosophy, art history, and other critical texts.
