Paul Rudolph: Lower Manhattan Expressway

Paul Rudolph: Lower Manhattan Expressway presents the only records of Paul Rudolph’s visionary proposal, illuminating Rudolph’s unique approach to architectural drawing and highlighting the fundamental importance of drawing in his overall practice. The accompanying publication features approximately thirty reproductions of drawings, prints, and photographs dated from 1967 to 1972, never before published or exhibited. These are included together with an illustrated appendix of the reconstructed project model created by architecture students at The Cooper Union in conjunction with Rawlings Architects PC.
