Berlin-based artist Claudia Weiser’s art seeks to purify our understanding of the nature of experience. She approaches abstraction not strictly as formalism, but as a means of structuring larger, more philosophical ideas about how we encounter the world. Accompanying Claudia Weiser: Poems of the Right Angle, the artist’s first solo museum exhibition in North America, this publication provides an overview of Weiser’s site-specific installation of glazed ceramic tiles and prismatic mirrored facets against a background of geometrically-patterned wallpaper.
