Filling the Main Gallery and Drawing Room, Ken Price: Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Works on Paper 1962–2010 marks the first survey of drawings by Ken Price, an artist best known for his sculptural work. A selection of 65 works on paper will track Price’s pursuit of drawing over 50 years and will demonstrate a wide range of characters and techniques. This exhibition opens concurrently with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s presentation of a traveling retrospective of Price’s sculpture.

Following Terry Smith's IDEAS CITY 2013 site-specific commission, the exhibition Terry Smith: Document will fill The Lab gallery with photographs, drawings, film, and notebook sketches from the project.Capital Revisited a series of drawings of Corinthian capitals reflecting the artist’s longstanding interest in the form as a political, social, and architectural symbol, appeared briefly in sections on walls and windows around the Bowery neighborhood in May.Document will investigate Smith’s poignant and mischievous interventions into public space, and confronts the question of what remains at the close of an ephemeral project.
