Courtney Lain is based in Oakland and New Orleans. She began her musical career playing an electronic organ-accordion hybrid known as an Accorgan Syntara. Other recent musical projects include a performance with her Herringbone Orchestra at the Musée Océanographique in Monaco, and the creation of the Marvelous Museum Band for Mark Dion’s exhibition The Marvelous Museum at the Oakland Museum of California, for which she composed an original score to accompany a silent film presentation.
