In Conversation: Curtis Talwst Santiago with Native Art Department International

July 7, 2021, 12:00pm

Please note that this event has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 7 at 12pm EDT.

Join artist Curtis Talwst Santiago—who hosts monthly live drawing sessions, conversations, and interviews with his fellow artist friends on their practices and current projects—for a conversation with this month’s featured guests Maria Hupfield and Jason Lujan from Native Art Department International (NADI), a collaborative long-term project that focuses on building systems of support through their online presence, curated exhibitions, video screenings, panel talks, and collective art making. NADI activities aim to defy categorization, move away from essentialism and identity based artwork, and increase creative cooperation.

  • Zoom Tips
    • Log in 5-10 minutes before the workshop begins to avoid any technical delays.
    • Use a desktop or laptop for the best image quality. A tablet will also do, but on a smartphone, the image may be too small.
    • Make sure you have a stable wifi connection before the workshop begins
  • Documentation
