Artist Curtis Talwst Santiago hosts regular live drawing sessions, conversations, and interviews with his fellow artist friends on their practices and current projects.
Join us for a live drawing session with featured guest Braxton Garneau whose practice is informed by the notion of mastery, the privilege of viewership, and the historical relationship between marginalized bodies and agency. Through the use of raw and hand-processed materials, he engages with the idea of labour and the profound cultural influence it has had on his ancestors.
The Drawing Center tries to share its programs as widely as possible, which means recording our programming and making it available online. By attending the event, you consent to audio recording and video recording and its/their release, publication, or exhibition.
Free online programs are made possible by The Cy Twombly Foundation.
