Tête-à-Tête Picnic: A Benefit Event Celebrating Huguette Caland

On Thursday, June 10, The Drawing Center will close Wooster Street from Broome to Grand Streets to throw a picnic celebration in conjunction with the opening of our exhibition Huguette Caland: Tête-à-Tête.

We invite you to join us at this unique indoor/outdoor benefit event, which promises to be a joyful, art-filled celebration of creativity and a life well lived, modeled after Huguette Caland’s vibrant spirit.

Over the course of the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to preview Caland’s exhibition, while enjoying small plates and beverages at reserved picnic tables. Event supporters will also receive bespoke picnic baskets, each stocked with an array of items selected by The Drawing Center.

Funds generated through the picnic on June 10 will support The Drawing Center's exhibitions, programs, and education initiatives; furthering its enduring mission to promote drawing and contemporary art and ideas.

5:00pm & 7:00pm Picnic Seatings
Each seating offers attendees 90 minutes to sit for dinner!
