The exhibition Picasso’s “Parade” from Paper to Stage is the first to focus on Picasso’s drawings for the ballet Parade. First performed by Diaghelev’s Ballets Russes in 1917, Parade came about as a collaborative effort between the leading modernists in the visual and performing arts respectively, who were both living in Paris at that time.
