Name It by Trying to Name It: Open Sessions 2014-15 included all artists in the program, gave the first floor of the museum over to an exploration of contemporary drawing, which encompassed performance, video, sculpture, and installation, as well as traditional drawing forms. The show's numerous collaborations, in which ideas and materials were shared, emphasized the medium's flexibility and process-oriented nature. The exhibition evolved over its six-week run, as some artworks entered and exited in two-week cycles, while others remained constant throughout the show's run. Taken as a whole, Name It by Trying to Name It, presented a window into nearly two years of thinking about drawing.
