Alan Saret : Gang Drawings

Alan Saret: Gang Drawings

Alan Saret: Gang Drawings marks the first major museum exhibition of Saret's work in seventeen years. Saret was a vital part of the Soho alternative art scene in the late 1960s and 70s, as well as an important figure in the history of process art and post-minimal art. The exhibition focuses on the artist’s “gang drawings,” made from fistfuls (“gangs”) of colored pencils swept across the page, spanning from the 1960s to the present.

Organized in close collaboration with Saret himself, the exhibition features never before seen work drawn from the artist's own archive.
