Xenakis Matters Book Launch Party

Join us for a launch party celebrating the release of Xenakis Matters: Contexts, Processes, Applications, an anthology of responses by thirty scholars, artists, musicians, architects, musicologists, philosophers, and art historians to the work of experimental composer and architect Iannis Xenakis. Edited by Sharon Kanach and published by Pendragon Press, the book compiles documentation of the ambitious public programming around theIannis Xenakis: Composer, Architect, Visionary exhibition’s tour in North America in 2010-11, which began at The Drawing Center.

The event will include guest speakers from among the contributors toXenakis Matters:Joel Chadabe Sharon Kanach David Lieberman Carey Lovelace Robert Rowe andRonald Squibbs as well as a performance byConrad Harris violin.
